Major Barrier to Migration at the confluence
of the Nore and Delour

The Nore Suir River Trust commissioned
a report on the barriers to salmonid migration in the River
Nore. This report was funded by the Office of Public Works,
carried out by Alan Sullivan, BSc. and completed in June 2007.
To date the Trust has been unable to open dialogue with the
Southern Regional Fishery Board on mitigating these barriers.
