Sometimes in life there is an imperative to get off one's backside and do something positive!

In 'Stop Salmon Drift Nets Now' (SSDNN), we were part of a successful campaign for the removal of the mixed stock salmon netting from the end of 2006.

Since then, there are signs of increased numbers of salmon entering the Nore and Suir systems.

This gives the River Trust an incentive to begin the surveying, evaluation and repair of both river systems...not just for salmon but for all of the fish, invertebrates and plant life.
